Job Description
OULAMII SOOJ (OS) is a performing groups and culture institution under Active Concept. It refers to “ALL STARS” in local language, was founded in 1995 in Tema, Ghana, West Africa. It is now the only West African drum & dance group in Hong Kong, Asian region which has officially registered in the Centre for National Culture, Ghana.
OS promotes the distinct culture of West Africa through series of performances and workshops relating to African music, dance and cultural experiences.
The use of musical instruments and body parts, the powerful dances as well as the beautiful songs presents a special visual and sensational experience to the audiences. Every move expresses the unique cultural significance; it is more than simply an entertainment. We are to ensure that all the participants are fully absorbed into the African culture!
Job Duties:
• Assist in projects related to music, arts and culture
• Organize, manage and execute programs and events
• Deliver support on office administrative work as required
• Coordinate and follow up tasks with external parties
• Design promotional materials
• Handle social media platforms
• Work during weekends is expected
• Flexible working hour is provided
Skills & Requirements:
Fields of Study: Arts, Education, Graphic & Commercial Arts, Visual & Performing Arts, Business Administration
Education Level (pursuing / obtained): Bachelor, Higher Diploma / Associate Degree
Required Level of Work Experience: /

Candidates with higher diploma and associate degree will be considered

Graduates in any discipline

Proficient in using Premiere, Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator

Knowledge/experience in media and video production is an advantage

Good command of written and spoken English & Cantonese

Independent, well organized and a good team player

Interested in arts & culture, video production and education
